Its Global Sourcing Service (GSS), aimed at providing full assistance to international buyers along the whole sourcing process, basically include the following services:
- Market research and regulation consulting
- Sourcing - supplier identification and investigation
- Supplier assessment/audit
- Shop-inspection during fabrication
- Expediting service
- Pre-shipment inspection
- Supplier development (mainly focus on Gap analysis and Training)
- Maintenance of supplier qualification and periodic audit
- Communication and negotiation assistance

招聘职位: Sourcing Consultant
工作地点: Shanghai

Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute sourcing projects
- Research on certain Chinese supply market to understand the export, quality and price level
- Develop supplier pool for certain categories of goods
- Collect supplier information by desktop and on-site investigation
- Interview professionals and engineers for supplier information
- Support commercial activities with knowledge of suppliers and product specifics
- Improve operational procedure for sourcing project execution
- Improve sourcing tools (questionnaires, forms, report templates, etc.)
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate project execution

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree and above
- Understand machinery, manufacturing process, technical specification
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools, esp. Excel, Powerpoint.
- Excellent communication skills (with suppliers, foreign clients, international & external experts)
- Outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit – taking initiative to make things happen
- Have more than 2-year experience in consulting or sourcing activities
- Excellent English skills (writing and speaking)
- Good health for travel and on-site investigation

Preferred:
- Have good knowledge on Power or Oil&Gas-related equipment manufacturers
- Have technical background in Power/Oil&Gas sector or have project experience in Power/Oil&gas-related company
- With education in both engineering and business
