Management Trainee Job Description
Introduction:
Management Trainee Program is a speeding-up career development plan in Dell Technical support Department, designed for the Top Student with high potential leadership. They will grow into a managerial role in 1-2 years, which accumulates the professional management skill and experiences per special training and on job training.
Trainee will be developed by the rotational assignment and education program which will cover Technical Training, Management Training/, Mentorship & Buddyship program.
Job Title: Management Trainee
Direct Report Manager: Business Manager
Requirement for Trainee:
1. MBA or Master Degree preferred
2. Good communication skills, demonstrate high potential in management.
3. Excellent analytical skills, team spirit, and logic thinking
4. Quick learner; energetic; willing to work under pressure and tough environment
5. Good mastering of English
6. Commitment to the industry and career in Dell
Responsibilities:
1. Trainee will first start from Technical Support Engineer role, taking customer call to provide the technical support to Dell customers on the hardware, systems, subsystems and applications utilizing telephone and remote diagnostic capabilities.
2. Once trainee is developed to a Team Leader role, he/she will manage 8-13 team members both in business metrics and the people development.
3. After trainee been developed to a second manager, he/she will be responsible for the performance of a team of 30-50 employees. And responsible for the overall development, motivation, and discipline of the teams.
Technical Support Engineer
Description
*Provide telephone support to Dell customers via on line trouble shooting
*Timely send service engineer to customer site to solve hardware failure
*Maintain good customer satisfaction with rapid and accurate solution
*Provide best customer service quality with interest and enthusiasm
*Dealing with technical problems as well as customer emotional needs
Requirement
*Bachelor degree in computer science, communication, electronic related fields
*Strong technical background in PC/peripheral/networking
*Master Microsoft Operating System
*Speak clear Chinese without seemingly accent
*English proficiency ( CET-4 )
